Our History

Levmet was formed in 2011 by professionals from the ferrous and non-ferrous metals industry, with the intention of specialising in the international trade of steel products.

The Company is now a global player trading base metals, bulk commodities, petroleum products and power. The physical elements of our business have increasingly taken centre stage and today make up the vast majority of revenues. The foundations for the Company’s growth and expansion into other products has been management’s focus on the need for strong risk management, while at the same time never forgetting the needs of our customers.
